One of my friends has repeatedly lied to me - and yes, I know for sure. Do I confront her about it, and if so how should I approach the situation?
We've been friends for over 10 years and I love her dearly, but the lieing has gotten out of hand. And it's always about small things, like where she spent the afternoon. Really silly stuff. What do I do?

Some people are patholigical liars and no matter what you do, they will not change. Now, you could confront her, but be prepared that your friendship may be over. Many people cannot handle confrontation, even if it's true.

You need to talk with her about it. Don't go into the conversation as a confrontation per say, more of just matter-of-fact. She needs to know that you care enough to bring it up, not so much that it bothers you. Be ready for any reaction.
