I began dating someone recently and he is the most indecisive person I've ever met. He cannot pick a good pub, restaurant or cinema to go to.
I'm a very independant women, but I do not want to make all the decision. How can I solve this before it gets any more out of hand? I do like this bloke so I do not want to give up so quickly.

Try being honest without being brutal. Let him know you want him to take more initiative, or nudge him a little. You can even leave the decision making up to him and see where he goes with it.

"Lucy" hit the nail right on the head. You have to be honest with him. Tell him that you aren't happy always making the decisions and that he should make some also. One way to soften the blow is to remind him that any decision he makes, you'll support. He may feel uneasy about making a decision because he doesn't want you to be unhappy about it. Just tell him that you're cool with anything he suggests and it should make the decision making process easier for him.
