I went out with my son's teacher recently, and the date was a complete disaster. Now, it's completely awkward between us. I don't want this to affect my son.
What should I do to nip this situation in the bud? Should I approach him or just let it go and wait & see?

well step one would be to never date a teacher of your son/daughter ever again. but that goes without saying. step two is to just let it go. I'm sure he will let it go as well, it just needs time. he's a professional and shouldn't hold it against your son.

I think if it's really bad, you should address it. Otherwise, just let it pass. I'm queen of awkward relationships & situations, and they always pass after the initial shock of it all.
