I hate running
...but I am overweight. How much do I need to walk per day in order to see a change in my body? I eat a fair amount but don't pig out. I am healthy, but just need to lose the pudge.

running stinks, no doubt about that. Just try to find something that you're comfortable with. Walking, biking, swimming etc. Do that on a regular basis and you should see a chnage. Keep in mind that over time the same exercise may become less and less productive as your body gets used to it. So switching up isn't a bad idea either. Keep your body guessing.
