Does anyone have experience with business coaches and how do I choose a good one?

I agree with Steve. Most business coaches act from experience . However you need to be aware not to take every advice they give, just take what works for you and disregard what doesn't. I've met several in my life and I think you need to sit down with each and talk about what they have to offer and what kind of coaching they provide. For me, what's most important is that they have enough experience they can talk from and mentor me. I don't think I would go with a coach that doesn't have a proven track record. That said, I've heard they can be pretty effective if you find a good one.
