I LOVE IT! When I first had it done, I was beyond affraid to have needles stuck in me! But this is a complete mental fear, and probably the best thing for you. This act is designed to RELAX you and you have to learn to just take a deep breathe, relax, and center you thoughts. Acupuncture is a great way to learn relaxation. YOU SHOULD TRY IS, and just relax and DON'T THINK ABOUT THE NEEDLES!

Yes, I have had acupuncture and it has helped tremendously. I used to have really bad headaches and I was really low on energy after stressful periods . Both of those got helped with acupuncture. From what I understand, some practitioners prick the needles in a more gentle way than others. It's probably worth asking how they work before going there. Some also give a little massage, depending on the issues you have. I would try and get a referral first as I'm sure there are people there who know what they are doing and others who don't.
